With an enrollment range of approximately 30,000 students, University of Waterloo is a public higher-education institution located in the city of Waterloo, Ontario. This accredited university was established in 1957 and is a non-profit public higher-education institution.

More than 2,00,000 people have graduated from the University of Waterloo since its inception in 1957 and can be found across 152 countries in the world. Waterloo graduates have accumulated gained prominence in a number of fields and have also won several awards including the Nobel.

In 1999, Robert Mundell was awarded the Noble Prize in Economics for his contribution in monetary dynamics and optimum currency areas. In 2018, Donna Strickland, Waterloo’s faculty member was awarded Nobel Prize in Physics for her work in laser physics.

The average rent is 550 to 650 CAD/month The residence type includes studio apartments, 3 bedroom apartments, 4 bedroom apartments and shared apartments The apartments are fully furnished with free Hi-speed WIFI and central air-conditioning facility The student residences comprise of modern suite-elements with fully equipped kitchens including new appliances & dishwasher The lease period is generally 12 months
