The new border restrictions starting Jan. 15, 2022 will allow more international students to begin their studies in Canada.
Beginning November 30, 2021, Canada will expand the list of COVID-19 vaccines that travelers can receive to be considered fully vaccinated. Among the vaccines already approved by Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.
Canada is adding vaccines such as Sinopharm, Sinovac and COVAXIN to the existing list. Students need to be fully vaccinated before being allowed to cross the border.
