In April of 1999, the middle's name was changed again to Winnipeg Technical College (WTC). South Winnipeg Technical Center's administering board had met up with three school divisions and taken the choice of the name change and furthermore the expansion of another grounds. WTC then, at that point, had three exceptional areas that offered preparing in Business and Information Technology, Health Care and Human Services, and Skilled Trades and Technology.
